Siuslaw River Gravel Camp

MVBC won't be hosting this event at Whittaker Creek Campground in 2024 due to the closure of remote BLM campsites in the Siuslaw region.
As of May 2nd, we're still exploring alternative venues or using the dispersed camping option.
About the Siuslaw River gravel camp
This gravel camp consists two days of organized mixed surface rides (on Saturday and Sunday) in the Coast Range between Eugene and Florence, with the option of informal rides on Friday and Monday. Participants are encouraged to arrive on Friday and can stay through Monday morning. Tent camping will be available at either Clay Creek Recreation Site or Whittaker Creek Recreation Site along the upper Siuslaw River. This may be a joint event with the Eugene GEARS Club.
May 2 update: With the general closure of campgrounds in the Siuslaw area, we have secured space at the Archie Knowles campground operated by Lane County as an alternate site.
